Organize your home + Donate!

It is great when you can go to one store for all of your home needs. I like when I can go purchase a wall shelf to organize my office essentials and buy kitchen products at the same time. One store that you can go to for all of your home needs is IKEA. I am sure many of you already know about IKEA, but if you have not for any reason, here is a little more about this fabulous store. The store sells everything that you could possibly imagine; from Children's textiles, to flooring for a room. You can get great organizational units, or living room furniture. IKEA was founded in 1943, and as the years went by, the company grew larger and larger and started selling more and more. Now, not only do they make millions of people happy with their affordable, fun, and fresh products, but they also have donated millions of products to children and families in need in Pakistan that have been affected by flood waters.

IKEA believes that children are the most important people in the world, as we all do, and they are making every effort by donating and supporting UNICEF and Save the Children. If you would like to help to give the children in Pakistan clean water, food, and vaccinations to prevent many killer diseases, you can make a donation yourself. Donate to UNICEF or to Save the Children. Every donation will help.
After making a donation, head over to your closest IKEA store or shop online to check out their latest and greatest products. Like many, we have many toys in our home so it is essential to buy products that can help to store them. For little items, I love the Kusiner Storage Baskets. They come 3 in a pack for only $3.99. We put them on the wall at my son's reach, so that he could put his little matchbox cars away by himself. Very affordable and fun way to clean up a little ones room. Another product that is great to have is the Vessla Storage Crate with Casters. The product sells for only $5.99, and your kids can roll them around to be able to get their items to where they need to go. I like to put art supplies paper and coloring books so that they are always in reach for the kids. They can roll the unit to their table, and clean up when they are done! Roll it under a couch or under a desk to keep out of the way when not in use. Comes in blue, light green, light pink, and white.

One last product that I would love to share is the Trofast Storage Combination. This unit comes in natural wood or is also available in white in other sizes and prices. This unit sells for $84.99. I like the idea that it is easy for your children to reach their own items. They simply slide out the bins to reach their toys, and it can also be used as a bench. If you have an entryway where you could put a bench you could easily place a cushion on top and use the bins to hold shoes, or hats, gloves, or scarves. The possibilities are endless and that is what I love about IKEA's products.
