Celebs Get A-List Color Treatments from Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon

We are thrilled to share this news that was emailed to me.

"This week two Hollywood A-Listers updated their color courtesy of bi-coastal Serge Normant at John Frieda Salons in New York and LA. In New York before the Emmys, Claire Danes updated her signature blonde locks with a color treatment from Steven Amendola, colorist at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon on the Upper East Side in New York.

Steven lightened Claire's base this time to a pale, honey tone and gave her a few accents of light around her face and at the top. He now uses pure pigment products that allow him to custom mix glosses for clients, right down to the number of drops. The process gives Claire her signature glow and adds even more iridescence to her hair. "I love the glossing treatment," says Steven. "It's great because someone can run in and have the treatment without taking a lot of time out of her day and when blown dry, the hair takes on a great sheen."

On Tuesday in LA, Kristen Wiig got a more serious change. The former SNL actress had her colorist, Jonathan Gale of the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon in LA take her dark for her movie, the Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Now that filming has wrapped, Jonathan took her light again. Although it took over four hours to bring her lighter, Jonathan brought her from a dark brunette to a golden, maple blonde without any damage--meaning she's back to a shiny, healthy blonde."

That's amazing! To go from a brunette to a blonde and still have healthy hair?? I know when I get highlights my hair always seems damaged because my hair is so dark. John Frieda sure does work wonders! What hair stories do you have?
