The Cos Bar

I had to share this from our friends at Behrman Communications. Have you heard of The Cos Bar? Below you will find out about their beauty products and the founder of it all!

The mastermind behind this beauty and skincare endeavor is Lily Garfield, owner and founder of THE COS BAR. A longtime resident of Aspen, Garfield left behind the chaos of New York for the relaxed lifestyle of the Colorado Mountains where she immediately set out to create a cosmetics boutique that would become synonymous with quality. Today, Lily Garfield continues to select every product sold at THE COS BAR, working with top makeup artists and skincare specialists to offer clients the latest and most advanced in skincare and makeup.

Lily’s Travel Necessities:

Skin:

Canyon Ranch Brightness Eye Cream, $70:  I couldn’t survive without this power product.  Not only does it wake up tired eyes, but also illuminates dark circles right on the spot.  This cream is made with a caffeine complex that deflates puffy eyes – what more could you ask for after a red-eye flight?

Amore Pacific Intensive Skin Renewal Ampoule, $150 – While the ampoule is pricey, it’s worth every penny. This 1-week intensive skin immersion is a multi-faceted, anti-aging treatment that will revive and restore volume to the skin, reducing lines, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and even sun damage. After a long day of traveling, I find that one ampoule immediately refreshes my skin

Canyon Ranch Age Transforming Hydramist, $50: The best part about this product – it comes with four sets of hydramists (15ml vials) so you can keep one in your carry on, your desk drawer, etc.  It cools and moisturizes the face, providing an instant boost of hydration for fatigued skin

Fragrance:

Kilian Eau de Parfum, $70 – They make their eight fragrances travel friendly by offering each as 4 x .25oz, vials with a beautiful black travel spray holder. All eight fragrances fit in the holder thus travelers can mix and match which fragrances they bring with them

Cosmetics:

Nars The Multiple, $38 – The Multiple tops my list of beauty travel favorites as it can be used on the cheeks, lips, eyes and body. It’s the ultimate multi-purpose beauty pick that travels so well, no beauty aficionado should be without it! It also comes in universally flattering, travel-inspired shades such as Maldives, Palm Beach and Riviera

La Bella Donna Mineral Powder, $50 – These loose mineral powders provide natural sunblock (SPF 20) and don’t move with sweat, water, rain, etc… Not only can they be used wet or dry, but with its unique light-refracting powder helps diminish the appearance of fine line and wrinkles so they are ideal for all over coverage and spot concealing

Clarins Super Restorative Tinted Cream, $77: This creamy but light formula revives the skin with a subtle golden glow, while improving skin tone and elasticity. This cream also protects against free radicals and sun damage with SPF 20, making it the perfect travel companion – protection and perfection all in one tube!

Haircare:

Frederic Fekkai Glossing Travel Faves, $40:  My biggest fear of traveling is forgetting my hair care products.  It’s a good thing Frederic Fekkai created this travel sized version of my favorite Glossing collection.  It comes with a complete line of minis, a travel comb and cute wristlet travel bag.  Even small enough to fit in your carry-on

When selecting the best cosmetic and skincare products for your personal needs this spring, turn to one of THE COS BAR’S cosmetic consultants. Lily prides herself on developing a team who have a wealth of knowledge, experience and training with all the brands carried by COS BAR. She firmly believes that a COS BAR consultant represents the customer first, and can customize a multi-branded skin care treatment and makeup regimen with the best of what the industry has to offer.
